Fees and Policies at Mother Nature Psychology
Consultation Fees
$220 per appointment of 50 mins (plus 10 mins for notes, planning and correspondence). Clients with a valid GP referral receive a Medicare rebate of $101.55 and have an out-of-pocket expense of $118.45. For appointments scheduled as a home visit with $20 travel fee or walking session outside of consulting rooms, with a valid GP referral, the rebate is $127.50 (Item 80115).
$300.00 for longer EMDR sessions 1.5 hrs or as negotiated. Clients with a valid GP referral receive a Medicare rebate of $101.55.
The fees are the same for both in person and telehealth (phone or video) appointments
Please note my fees are below the AAPI recommended fee - Recommended Fees Guide 2026-2027 (aapi.org.au) and due to expenses of operating a small business it is not possible to offer bulk billing at the current time.
Bookings & Payment
Following the booking of your appointment time, you will be emailed confirmation and sent forms to consent to the service along with further details of your appointment including fees and policies.
Session fees are payable by automatic processing of your credit / debit card which will be stored on file in an secure encrypted payment system.
Non-payment of a session fee will lead to future appointments being cancelled until the outstanding fee is paid.
Where a cancellation fee is incurred this will be charged to your card on file or paid by direct deposit prior to your next appointment.

Cancellation Fees
I understand that unexpected events occur. Please let me know if you are unable to make an appointment so that it can be offered to another client.
Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice (2 business days) will incur a cost at 50% of the session fee.
If you fail to attend your appointment with less than 12 hours notice you will be charged the professional fee for the time set aside for you. Any future appointments will be re-booked after formulating a plan together
I also understand sickness is unexpected and please advise if this is your situation and I will endeavour to reschedule you.
Note that Medicare and Private Health funds do not provide rebates for cancellation fees.
